Kelburn Castle

The Kelburn Castle in Scotland was tagged by Brazilian several graffiti artists that worked separately but collectively painted the castle in only 1 month. It definitely stands out like a sore thumb on the natural green landscape. I guess some people may think that graffiti stands out no matter where the setting is..but they are just even less accustomed to seeing graffiti in rural areas. It's awesome. So here's the story: Scotland is chock full of classic-looking castles. Since there are many many castles throughout Scotland, visitors less frequently toured the Kelburn Castle since there was such a wide variety of other castles to go to. In order to increase the amount of tourists that visited the Kelburn, the committee decided to make the castle more interesting to attract more visitors. The idea was, obviously, to unite the historical society with the artist society, thusly creating the NEW tagged-up Kelburn Castle. Astonishingly, the Earl of Glasglow supported this project, and it turns out that the marketing scheme worked. Hell, I wanna go check it out.
